As part of our Inventors topic this half term, we have been researching the work of Al-Khwarizmi from the Islamic Golden Age and the influence his work has had on the world. We have found out that he created Alogrithms and introduced the western world to ‘0’. In honour of his work, we have been using algorithms in class! Not only have we been using algorithms in our Computing lessons this week to create our own space simulations but we have also created our own algorithms to make a jam sandwich. We then swapped our alogrithms with a partner and followed them to create our yummy jam sandwiches!
