Although we've not all been in school, we haven't let that stop us celebrating World Book Day both in school and at home!
The staff joined in with a 'Masked reader' competition for all the children and each class enjoyed finding out more about different authors, designing their own bookmarks, watching illustrators at work and watching authors read extracts of their books.
We were also lucky enough to receive books from Preston North End Community and the Premier League Stars programme.
Don't forget, there are always videos, activities and book recommendations which can be found on the World Book Day website.
Reading for pleasure is such an important lifelong skill - lets work towards all of our children reading for pleasure!
